There is also smelling and tasting. I experience that as well.
As a Claircognizant, I just know things. I don’t know how I know them. But I do know that I didn’t learn things somewhere. And during a session with someone, I’m able to tell them things that I certainly didn’t learn or hear before.
I do not “hear” voices with my ears. What I hear is inside my own head. There are words, songs, phrases, names, etc., that I hear, that are not my own thoughts. I have to “tune in” to hear them clearly, and separate them from my own thoughts. It takes concentration, and if I’m distracted, it’s hard to pick up clearly what I’m hearing.
I do not “see” spirits walking around, or standing there. I see them in my mind’s eye, as quick flashes. And it’s usually them in their 20’s. I hear their laugh, I see their smile, or their anger, their sadness, all depending on how they were in life. I KNOW they are not the same after they’ve passed. But they show me how they were, so that I can tell you. You can recognize their personalities as they were when they were alive. If I tell you how they are in heaven, which is great and they are very happy, you would probably say “that’s not how my Dad is”. So I tell you how they were, to validate that I’m connecting to your loved one.
Now, what I “feel” is very detailed, and extremely physically taxing on me. I feel their personalities, their sense of humor, their sadness, their love, etc. I feel their emotions. Ranging from when they themselves were young, to adults, during their passing, and onto the other side. I physically feel their sicknesses, and their deaths. I will tell you everything. I start out with a session with a trigger warning. Because I don’t leave anything out. It can make you relive their passing, or hear things that can be hard to hear. The only time I leave out details, is if the spirit tells me to.

I do not see into the future. I can ask whoever is coming through questions about the future, but more often than not, I do not get an answer. Maybe it’s because I believe we make our own destiny. We can change our lives, and turn our paths, and alter the direction we are headed.

And that’s what I do. I channel to be able to do this. It can be overwhelming for me, and the person I’m reading for. But I always intend to give helpful, healing sessions.
I will say that if someone is a skeptic, it can be difficult to give them a reading. They want concrete proof that there is life after death. And although I can do that, I feel like God isn’t trying to prove anything to anybody. Faith in God and Heaven and the afterlife is a choice, and some people just don’t have that faith. I hope to change that for those who don’t believe. I hope to continue what I do to bridge the gap between our world and the other side.
Although the goal of the session is to connect to loved ones on the other side, sometimes it’s not easy and perfect. Sometimes it doesn’t happen the way it should. In that case, the session could be rescheduled. Another reason for a reschedule, might be due to Erica unable to do it at your scheduled appointment time. No matter the case of needing a reschedule, please be open and understanding.
When coming to your session, be open to a conversation, be open to the information you hear. Please validate the things that you hear, be ready to hear from many Spirits, not just THE ONE you have in your mind to come thru. Be open to not just getting the exact proof you told your loved ones to bring forward. It doesn’t always work that way. Spirit gives the messages you may need, not just what you want.
